Effortlessly practical, comfortable and fun to drive, plus incredibly efficient – the all-new Fiat Tipo is ready to make its mark. Oh yes, and there's a healthy dose of Italian flair thrown in for good measure. Available as either a five-door hatchback or a spacious estate, the Tipo comes equipped with plenty of clever technology and connectivity features as standard, all for an impressively low price.
Designed in Italy, the Tipo features bold, distinctive creases and taut lines that flow up from the narrow headlights and optional LED daytime running lights. Its athletic contours boost aerodynamic performance, helping air to flow across the bonnet over the car to the rear spoiler. The estate adds sleek rooftop bars as standard.
Offering maximum space and comfort for driver and passengers alike, the Tipo boasts class-leading legroom and boot space, while an ergonomically designed cabin means all of the car's controls are within easy reach. The hatchback is deceptively spacious, with the rear able to seat up to three, six-feet-plus passengers comfortably. Fit everything in thanks to clever storage compartments and a 440-litre boot. There's an additional 110 litres of space available in the back of the estate model, along with 60/40-split rear seats, a low load sill, and enough room to carry items up to 1.8m in length. 
The Tipo is focused on offering value for money, yet it comes equipped with plenty of impressive features across the three available trim levels. USB charging ports are fitted as standard, along with DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity with steering wheel remote controls, and electric rear windows in the estate.
Optional extras range from rear parking sensors and a five-inch Uconnect touchscreen system through to satellite navigation. There are plenty of cutting-edge safety features available too, including Adaptive Cruise Control and automatic emergency braking.
Five powerful yet efficient engines are available for the all-new Fiat Tipo – two diesels and three petrol powertrains. There's a choice of automatic and dual-clutch transmissions too. Equipped with a lively 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine, the hatchback and estate will accelerate from 0-62mph in 9.6 seconds and 9.8 seconds respectively.
Fiat's 1.6 MultiJet II diesel powertrain manages to offer efficiency and pulse-quickening performance, taking the Tipo from 0-62mph in 9.8 and 10.1 seconds respectively. Both the hatchback and estate are able to return up to 76.3mpg, while keeping CO2 emissions down to just 98g/km.
