Sales Support / Driver

Hours: 8am – 6pm / Monday to Friday

This role is vital to supporting the Sales team, you will be responsible for helping them to progress new and used cars through the preparation process prior to being sold and through to handed over to the customer.

The ideal candidate will be a very organised, efficient and helpful with good communication and administration skills. Good attention to detail and time management are also important as working to deadlines and under pressure are key. Knowledge of the sales process and / or vehicle preparation would be useful. The role involves driving and logistics. You must be flexible and able to organise your diary and sub-contractors to ensure that the vehicles are ready at the agreed time for our customers. The role will also consist of preparing various documentation during the sales process.

Responsibilities include:

• Photographing new and used cars for website
• Working off a daily delivery sheet to ensure Sales cars are ready for delivery
• Fuelling Cars
• Organising vehicles to go through valeting
• Seeing New Car Transporters and Used cars in – Checking for damage
• Arranging the Forecourt Display
• General Driving

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cars are ready when agreed. This role is paramount to Thames Motor Group achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction. You must be of smart appearance, team working and good communication skills are essential within this role. Full Drivers licence necessary.
