Thames Motor Group is seeking an ambitious and driven General Sales Manager to lead one of the busiest multi-brand automotive operations in the Southeast. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding sales performance, profitability, stock management and customer satisfaction across Nissan, Chery, Fiat, Abarth, and Leapmotor.

We're looking for a leader who thrives under pressure, embraces accountability, and is determined to build a winning culture. You will lead a large sales team, drive results, coach your team, and ensure everyone is pulling in the same direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive vehicle sales, profit and manufacturer objectives
• Lead, coach and motivate a high-performing sales team
• Manage new and used vehicle stock, pricing and profitability
• Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and retention
• Oversee lead management, sales process and compliance
• Manage forecasting, reporting and performance analysis
• Handle customer escalations and support the team in closing deals
• Maintain high standards across the showroom, forecourt and site
• Build a culture focused on accountability, teamwork and results

• Proven automotive sales management experience
• Strong commercial and profit-focused mindset
• Experience leading a strong-minded sales team in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills
