Fiat 500X

The 500X is the most significant Fiat model since the relaunch of the iconic Fiat 500. With an optional four-wheel drive system the 500X is the latest 4x4 model to join the exceptionally capable Panda 4x4 and new Panda Cross.

With two different versions available and a choice of three drivetrain's, the 500X is aimed at a broad market from city drivers to off-roaders.


Design

The 500 family DNA is obvious in the design of the new 500X with details such as the 500's signature circular headlights and rounded bodywork. Although larger than a standard 500 the exterior dimensions of the 500X are compact at only 4.25m in length, 1.8m in width and 1.6m in height. Depending on the model there is a choice of up to 12 body colours and up to 7 fabric and leather interior options.To personalise the 500X further there is 8 different alloy wheel choices in 16", 17" and 18".


Interior Design

Inside the new 500X is spacious with high quality materials throughout, reference is made to the 500 with details such as the large coloured dash panel and retro door handles. The 500X cabin is not just about retro design details though, mounted in the centre of the dash is the optional U-Connect system with either a 5.0" or 6.5" touch screen display. Linked with the drivers smart phone this innovative system brings a host of exciting new features including apps such as Facebook, live services such as traffic updates, safety camera and weather information.

The Fiat 500X is also the latest Fiat model to be offered with the premium BeatsAudio system. Developed in collaboration with Beats by Dr.Dre, the premium hi-fi system boasts 560W, eight channel digital amplifier which integrates an advanced equalisation algorithm designed to recreate the entire sound spectrum that an artist experiences during their sound recordings.

Driver Experience

Fiat 500X Controls

The "Drive Mode Selector" gives the driver full control of the 500X's character, with three different modes including Auto, Sport, and All-Weather the 500X is built to tackle a range of different driving conditions. On the more rugged Fiat 500X Cross and Cross Plus models All-Weather is replaced by the Traction function

Product Range

The 500X range consists of 22 versions with 5 trim levels including Pop, Pop Star, Lounge, Cross and Cross Plus there is 6 different engine options. The broad appeal of the 500X is reflected in the wide range of powertrain options. Front wheel drive, petrol powered models are either equipped with a 110hp "E-torQ" engine with a five speed manual gearbox or a 140hp 1.4-litre Turbo MultiAir II petrol engine with either a new-generation six speed manual gearbox or a six speed twin clutch transmission. The all-wheel drive petrol model is equipped with a first in class nine speed automatic transmission powered by a 170hp 1.4-litre Turbo MultiAir II engine.

The front wheel drive diesel range consists of the 95hp 1.3 MultiJet II Turbo diesel, equipped with a five speed manual gearbox and the 120hp 1.6-litre MultiJet II turbo diesel equipped with a six speed manual gearbox. The four-wheel drive diesel option is the 140hp 2.0-litre MultiJet II turbo diesel, which is available with six-speed manual or 9 speed automatic transmission.
