Experienced Sales Consultant – OMODA & JAECOO

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Sales Consultant to join our successful team at Thames OMODA & JAECOO in Slough.

Thames Motor Group is a family-run automotive business with dealerships in Slough and Tunbridge Wells, representing leading brands including Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Fiat Professional, Leapmotor, Nissan, OMODA, JAECOO and Chery.

As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while achieving and exceeding your sales targets. Customer care is at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for someone who is professional, motivated and passionate about delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customers throughout the full sales process, from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover
• Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and provide a first-class buying experience
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales and performance targets
• Proactively follow up leads and maximise every sales opportunity
• Present vehicles, products and finance options confidently and professionally
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and follow-up
• Work effectively as part of a successful and supportive sales team

About You

We are looking for an experienced salesperson with a proven track record of selling directly to customers.

You will ideally have:

• At least 18 months' direct sales experience, preferably within the automotive industry
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A confident, professional and customer-focused approach
• A self-motivated and results-driven attitude
• The determination and ambition to succeed in a competitive market
• The ability to build rapport quickly and develop strong customer relationships
• A full, clean UK driving licence held for at least one year

Direct sales experience is essential. This means experience of selling a product or service directly to customers, such as cars, mobile phones, property, retail products or similar.
