Nissan celebrates another major milestone in its electric vehicle journey

Nissan has reached an incredible milestone, with owners of Nissan electric vehicles across the UK collectively driving more than three billion fully electric miles. The achievement highlights the growing popularity, reliability and everyday usability of Nissan's electric vehicle range as the brand celebrates 15 years of continuous EV sales in the UK.

Using official DVLA mileage data, Nissan revealed that its electric cars and vans have covered an astonishing 3,027,603,142 miles on UK roads. To put that into perspective, that's the equivalent of travelling to the moon and back more than 6,000 times, or driving from Sunderland to Tokyo over 340,000 times.
