On December 11, Thames Motor Group participated in PistonHeads’ Sunday Service Event, the last of its kind in 2016. These special occasions take place throughout the year, with the first occurring at Surrey’s Mercedes-Benz World and the most recent event happening at Chichester’s Goodwood Circuit.
On November 19, the Giulia Quadrifoglio was unveiled at Thames Motor Group’s Alfa Romeo showrooms, with deliveries to customers due to begin in early 2017. The Goodwood event was an excellent opportunity for enthusiasts to see The Giulia Quadrifoglio, as well as the Abarth 124 Spider, which launched in September.
The Giulia has been receiving very positive reviews from the automotive press, with Auto Express declaring it “the best Alfa Romeo in a generation.”
The 124 Spider has also received widespread praise, and Auto Express has described it as “a brilliant sports car: it looks great, is brilliant fun to drive and is great value for money.”
Both vehicles proved a hit with visitors at the event and were featured on the popular Seen Through Glass channel on YouTube, as presented by Sam.
Sam owns an Abarth 695 Biposto – available from Thames Motor Group – and has approximately 220,000 subscribers on YouTube, as well as almost 23,000 Twitter followers. His video of the event has been seen by more than 63,000 viewers. Sam made particular reference to the Quadrifoglio and 124 Spider in his video and can be seen driving an Alfa Romeo Giulia.
