The updated C4 includes redesigned headlights and new LED daytime running lights (DRL) which Citroen says 'will add expression' to the look. Also updated are the rear lights and chrome details have been added to the front and rear bumpers. Other exterior touches include 17-inch 'Miami' alloy wheels which enhance the model’s appearance.
On the inside, Citroen has managed to pack the updated C4 with a range of new technologies and infotainment features. The facelifted C4 includes a new dashboard that reduces button clutter through use of an all-new seven-inch touchscreen. Buyers can also specify a massaging driver’s seat, plus a large panoramic roof, also available is a high-performance audio system with rear tweeters and subwoofers.
There's a total of four new engines on offer; two petrol and two diesel units. Citroen claims the PureTech three-cylinder turbocharged petrol units will deliver improved fuel consumption of up to 25% over the previous models.
Both diesel options are linked to six-speed manual gearbox and are offered with either 99bhp or 120bhp. The 120bhp engine delivers a claimed 78.5mpg and CO2 emissions of 95g/km. All engines are Euro 6-compliant.
