There was no need to travel to a galaxy far, far away to feel the Force last month – you could've just headed down to the Odeon Tunbridge Wells. The Thames Motor Group team was out in…force…to celebrate the launch of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and we had a pair of new-release DS models to show off.
In order to give younger moviegoers something extra to cheer about, we were offering a free Star Wars Lego TIE Advanced Prototype kit to the fan who uploaded the best selfie of themselves with our DS 4 and DS 4 Crossback cars. Loads of people joined in the fun and uploaded amazing snaps of themselves to Instagram using the hashtag #DSAwakens.
There were Princess Leia impersonators, Darth Maul lookalikes and storm troopers at every turn. In the end though it was Jake, dressed as a young Darth Vader complete with cape, helmet and lightsaber, who claimed the prize.
To our delight, Jake popped along to the Tunbridge Wells dealership on December 23 in full Vader costume to collect his prize and an early Christmas present from DS sales manager, Ian Biddle.
