Once you hear the engine burst into life and the butterfly valve in the exhaust kicks in - at around 3,000 rpm - you’ll be under the 595’s spell.

Abarth 595 look and feel

The Abarth 595 Turismo is designed for style and comfort, whereas the Competizione is for the racing and performance enthusiast. Both models have a turbocharged, 1.4 litre motor and an outstanding ability to go from 0-62mph in just 7.4 seconds.

Pressing the ‘sport’ button will enable the Torque Transfer Control and the engine overboost function, slinging you deeper into the Abarth Corse by Sabelt seats that come as standard.

The powerful Xenon headlights, unique 595 badges and titanium grey bumper grilles will mean you’re seen and admired, especially in the 10 stunning exterior colour choices available.

The Turismo features an optional automated manual gearbox whereas the Competizione has a 5-speed manual transmission, but both cars come with optional upgrades to the brakes and shock absorbers.
